Tarot or Jesus?

Tarot or Jesus?

This has been a hot topic thanks to one creator who made the very public decision to abandon tarot for Jesus. I like her a lot, so I truly do not want to call her out. Truthfully, being who I am, I will protect the fuck out of her sovereignty just as I will for everyone else. It is my soul’s ultimate mission to show people where they’re not sovereign and protect them as they find it. She has every right to choose a new path to connection, but her messages are starting to sound like shame. Using phrases like “you’re being called home” as she speaks against tarot is not encouraging sovereignty.

For those who aren’t completely sure of the meaning of sovereignty, it’s free will. I believe in your free will. The church says they do, too. The creator I’m referring to even said it. She said that you’re “free” to “come home when you’re called”. But she said it as she spoke against other paths to connection. She was saying, come home to him, from tarot.

And that’s my issue with this. If you make choices because you think it will make you worthy or because you feel obligated to love him a certain way, then your free will has been hijacked. It’s being manipulated through the repeated use of the phrase “free will”. What they’re saying is, “You have free will to do whatever you want, but if you love me, you’ll do it this way.”

And that’s not free will. It’s manipulation. It’s obligation.

It’s a trauma bond. Put those words in the mouth of a spouse or a parent, and anyone will tell you what they feel. A constriction in their chest. A pit in their stomach. A sudden need to earn validation. Anyone who’s been in a relationship like this will tell you how harmful it is. Any therapist and trauma professional will tell you that it’s abusive.

And it is no different with Jesus. If this is what you feel, you are holding a trauma bond for him, not love.

You are feeling an obligation, not a connection.

Love and obligation do not go together. It’s what we were taught love is through societal conditioning. But over the last 2 years, through my deconstruction and in my simultaneous newfound connection to Jesus, whom I will also refer to as Jeshua because that was his real name, it has become abundantly clear that obligation is not love.

Criticism and control are not love.

This is not what Jeshua wants for you. He wants you to listen to your heart. And he wants you to know that if you choose to follow his path, that simply means finding god within you and protecting the vulnerable through the integration of love of humanity and rage for injustice. It’s always been who he is. The church even tells you that right before they give you the rules of worthiness that he never requested of you.

You don’t need rules to love him or to be worthy of his love.

Use tarot. Use scripture. Don’t use either.

Love him by following in his footsteps, and go out and fight the injustices of the world.

Love him by simply saying thank you and living your life according to your true desires.

Or don’t do any of it if it doesn’t speak to you. If your soul is drawing your attention to something or someone else, then that is where you are meant to focus.

And if you’re like the content creator I’m writing about, and your soul is drawing you to follow the rules of the church, then that is where you are meant to be too, and I will protect that right with equal ferocity, even though I believe those rules actually work against your sovereignty, because I also believe everyone follows their own path home in their own time.

Home. When Jesus says come home, what he truly means is " come home to yourself."

All that being said, while I do believe in your right to follow the rules of the church as much as any other belief, I want to leave you with one thing if you are ready to hear it.

If you are feeling drawn to this message of sovereignty, continue reading, giving full consent to receiving my message.

If you are not drawn to it, you can choose to stop reading. I am not here to convert anyone who is not willing.

Imagine someone standing over you and saying, “I did this for you because I love you, and now you owe me and need to live your life according to this set of rules to be worthy of that love.”

I promise, sweet girl, that is not Jesus.

It’s not your fault; let me make that incredibly clear. I blame only one thing, and it is not you. I do not blame the content creator I'm referring to either. Absolutely none of what I’m saying is to shame you, or her. And I am truly sorry if you are feeling fear as you realize the message you’ve been following isn’t coming from him. You are safe, and you are loved, so take a deep breath and know that my purpose here is simply to fight against the insitutions who are putting false narratives out there.

It’s to fight for your sovereignty, and I believe the purpose of the institution is to take it.

So my advice for you to take or leave is to start with accepting that Jeshua believes you're worthy of goodness, no matter how you choose to love him, and even if you choose not to. Accept that you don’t owe him anything for his love. Then pay attention to how your thoughts and beliefs contradict that message and even how your thoughts contradict each other, and work your way towards being ready to release any false perceptions you might hold so that you can live your life the way you want to.

And if you ever feel called, I’m here to help you release fear so that you can hear what your heart is saying. So that you can find your own sovereign path to love within you and with Jeshua or any other guide or deity you feel called to, whether that includes tarot, meditation, scripture, all of it, or none of it.

Yes, I am a witch. And I’m an Oracle of Divine Beings. I channel Jeshua and embody Mary Magdalene.

And I’m a human being ready to fight for your sovereignty to love whoever and however the fuck you want.
