There’s a mass awakening happening right now. Thousands of people, if not more, are being awakened to a revolution. Divine Love and Divine Union are about to re-enter the world in vast amounts and dismantle its oppressive systems.
Yeshua’s teachings are that it’s the love of self and of others that brings you closer to God, but for centuries, we’ve been following rules governed by fear and shame instead of love.
Hear me when I say it’s about fucking time, and I can’t wait until I’m positioned to help bring this change in.
But I need you to hear this next part too.
There will always be rhetoric infused into every movement from the opposing force, meant to instill fear and/or shame from within the movement. We must be cognizant of these narratives that are working against our cause, and the one I want to talk about right now is the idea that sex is only meant to be shared between those in Divine Union with each other.
It’s purity culture with a rebranding that fits right into this revolutionary movement in such a way that it could slow us down or even stop us.
It’s literally the same fucking thing as ‘save yourself until marriage,’ only now you’re using new language to associate it with Divine Union on a spiritual path.
When you are on a path to your Divine Counterpart, your true love, your one and only beloved, you absolutely will feel a pull to celibacy at some point. It’s part of the path, and trust me, when you get there, you’ll want to be celibate. You’ll simply have no interest in anyone else. But you can’t force that stage before you’re ready.
And here’s why that narrative is harmful.
Number one, it’s simply not true. Yes, the goal is union with your beloved, after union with your own soul. But that doesn’t make sex wrong before you find your person. Sex is part of the human experience. Sex is part of every one of our paths, including sex with the “wrong” people. You have things to learn about yourself, and for many of us, that involves having a dating and sex life.
Number two, the feminine’s power comes from her womb. Not because her entire worth depends on having babies like they wanted us to feel. But because the portal to life on earth is also the portal to divinity. To heaven on Earth. To connection to her body and her inner knowing. Her desire and sexuality connect her to this magic. And this is the very reason they shamed us for it, made it seem unclean and impure for women to have sex, but not for men. For men, it meant power. They saw our power and stole it, but because they do not understand it, they used it to dominate us.
They wanted credit for what was ours and turned it into something it isn't. They corrupted it.
But women living in alignment with their true selves would never use our power to dominate and oppress. We might use it to direct karma to those who stole it and did horrible things with it, but our goal is never to dominate the Earth with it because we understand that our sexual power is what brings us closer to God and Goddess. Closer to the creation of all things. Closer to ourselves. Closer to Divine Union within. It’s our sexual power that brings the masculine closer to the Mother and Father too. There’s a reason for the saying ‘I saw God’ when referring to great sex.
But they stole the most important thing that allowed us access to this power.
Sexual Sovereignty.
They raped us, controlled us, made us feel fear and shame about our bodies and our sexuality so that we would be disconnected from ourselves, from our power, from our Divine Creators.
So telling a woman, yet again, to close her legs for anyone but her divine counterpart, whom she has yet to meet, is doing the same fucking thing.
You are taking choice from her through emotional manipulation. You are telling her not to listen to her body.
I understand some of you have good intentions by calling on women to stop sleeping with men who aren’t deserving. Men absolutely do not deserve us right now, and we should be guiding women towards a point of not settling and of only acting out of their own pure desire.
But for women to find their desire again, we need the space to deconstruct our conditioning and find sexual freedom and empowerment.
We don’t heal from centuries of patriarchal conditioning and trauma by adding more shame. It’s one more thing for us to fear: Am I doing a good enough job at centering myself if I decide to sleep with him? Am I spiritual enough if I choose this? Am I getting further away from God by sleeping with this man just because I want to and not because he’s my soulmate?
See how that narrative is dangerously close to the Christian version?
The Christian version says that having sex makes a woman impure. And this is how virginity became a thing. You can’t actually lose your virginity through sex because being a virgin, or being pure, is actually when you are living in alignment with your heart and soul, being pure of heart and one with your soul, free of false egoic conditioning. Having sex does not take that from you. Not having sex does not prevent you from losing it.
This story became part of our trauma. It is part of the sexual abuse we endure every day. On the one hand, our bodies feel inexplicably ashamed when we choose to have sex. On the other hand, we feel a lack of value when we choose not to.
They made it so that each sexual choice we have made throughout our lives has been taken from us. We weren’t choosing for ourselves. Our conditioning chose for us. Our trauma chose for us.
And this sexual dilemma contributed to disconnection. Disconnection from our own bodies. Disconnection from the person we are with.
Sex became transactional. Obligatory.
Even if you’re not being pressured by your partner, just the narrative that you should be having sex at a specific frequency in a healthy relationship is pressure, and when you’re in the young dating world, sex is expected. There’s a narrative that when you’re dating, you should be having sex. That a guy won’t stick around if you’re not. But sex shouldn’t be obligatory. It should be desired by both parties. And we can’t feel true desire when it’s expected and when we are disconnected.
We can’t feel true desire when we lack sexual sovereignty.
To access our true power as a feminine, we must take back our sexual sovereignty. We must let go of the old conditioning and the inhibitions that were created for us. Yes, we can and should connect to our bodies through self-pleasure. But if finding Divine Union within is only half of our connection to God and Goddess, then self-pleasure is only half of our connection to our sexual power.
The bottom line is to stop shaming women. Stop making them fear not being good enough or not making the right decision.
Nothing is going to happen when you choose to fuck the wrong person, except that you will learn something that brings you further down your path towards your Divine Destiny.
And maybe, like me, you’ll find someone who, in one night, will help you heal your sexual trauma and prove to yourself that you don’t just enjoy sex, you actually fucking love it. An experience that shows you can be in control of your own body and desires and make decisions from that place instead of your trauma and conditioning.
That your sexuality is fun and powerful and actually exists.
That you really are a sexual person, and your bad sex life with your ex was never really your fault.
You are a divinely sexual being who deserves to feel your power and sexual freedom before meeting your true person.
Because that deeply intense, passionate, sacred, earth-shattering, body-transcending, seeing God, feral, fuck with the love of your life that you’re looking for isn’t possible without finding your sexual sovereignty first.
This essay was written with the cis woman and cis man in mind because that type of relationship is the specific issue that keeps being brought into my awareness, but it holds true for everyone across the gender spectrum and with any partner. All of the traditional Christian narratives surrounding sex contribute to fear and shame to block out love because they all dictate when and with whom we should be having sex. Your sexual sovereignty was taken too, no matter how you identify and who you choose to sleep with. Also, as a reminder, the words feminine and masculine referred to here and in all of my writing and videos are energies and not gender-specific. That means that if you are a feminine, your power lies in your womb space and in your sexuality, whether or not you were born with a physical womb in your current vessel in this lifetime, and no matter how you identify.
